(Collaboration) Honey Whiskey Maple BBQ Glaze -
I fell in love with the sauces made by a wonderful local New Hampshire company called Big Dog Sauce Company and I just couldn't wait to get home to start experimenting. When Im taste-testing, I take mental notes about the flavors, textures, and how the senses react to what Im trying. This Maple BBQ sauce is definitely a sweet umami of flavor! After working on a big batch of meatballs, I knew right away that I wanted to create a glaze that was not just full of flavor but I wanted to to really stick to the meatballs. I believe every bite you take should have all of the flavors coming together. And, this very simple glazing sauce is PERFECT!

INGREDIENTS: 6oz Big Dog Sauce Company Maple BBQ Sauce 1-2oz Honey Whiskey 1 TB Butter, salted
1.) In a sauce pan on medium-high heat, melt your butter completely. Add your meatballs or protein-of-choice to the pan and toss to coat well.
2.) Add the maple BBQ sauce to the pan and begin stirring 3.) Add your honey whiskey and mix well. Within just a couple of minutes, the sauce is going to start thickening up. Remove from heat.
This gorgeous glaze has been tested on chicken, salmon, shrimp, scallops, pork, beef, turkey, meatballs, meatloaf and noodles for stir-fry.
