One More To Go....

Folks, we have one more inspection to go here before Konky's can officially launch. I am spending my remaining free days here to try to attack things I won't be able to do once I return to work. Admin, admin, and more admin. Did I say I have admin to do? There have been a lot of hoops to jump through, and an equally large number of curveballs thrown into the mix as well. Pair that up with going through several PT/ST sessions as I recover from my brain/eye injuries since November, it has been a wild goose chase for sure! So far, I have a couple of vendors in place who will work with me. I also have Restaurant Depot close by (until Sysco does something far more stupid than purchasing them) and several amazing ethnic shops everywhere I go. That's one of the main goals right there!

I look forward to providing baked goods on a wholesale level to a local restaurant. I also cannot WAIT to get my line of spice rubs to sell to the public! The labels came out awesome! There is a special project of building a comprehensive list of dishes to offer at special events, fairs, and private events as well. I will soon be working on the last remaining catering aspects to tie up. Lots of paperwork to be done.

Hooking up with a tax specialist is a big step. We were thinking that I do great bookkeeping from my previous work life, so it would make our lives simpler to have a tax specialist handle that aspect. So, that is in the works. I know I need to finalize building up our POS account. That is a big pain in the ass, to be honest. That, I am hoping I can do in the next few days. That will also mean finally opening up a business checking account. I am aiming to hit up a local Credit Union here in New Hampshire that will greatly benefit what Im trying to accomplish.

Well, that is pretty much it for now. I have a brisket to attend to, so please pardon me while I run away screaming! LOL!
