"PITCHING" A TENT!

I must admit, I choked on my coffee when my brain totally "went there" after the fact. So, it's not a tent. It is actually a canopy! And boy oh boy, did I get wicked excited to see the mock-up come through! Look Our Way out of Stockton, CA, was recommended by a local business for custom canopy creation and other company needs. Mind you, I had been e-shopping around for these types of businesses with the hopes of finding the right company that could help me out.

This whole process was so overwhelming. Ironically, all of the reps that had responded from the plethora of companies I had submitted mock-up requests to, the first name of each sales representative began with "J". Trying to keep my act straight on which J-name came from which company required half a pot of coffee at times! LOL!

Meanwhile, I narrowed the choices down from 20 companies to 10, down to 5, and then to two companies. This took a good couple of weeks by the time I could pin the best two in front of me. You send image files with the hope that the company will convert them to vector files without charging an arm and a leg. THAT was a huge hurdle for some reason. I'm not much of a tech-person and therefore I dont need the fancy-schmancy programs for a one-shot deal. So, I knew right away that this was important to have from the company I decided to go with for the sale.

When Look Our Way came through, I had that Looney Tunes "AWOOOGA" moment. Holy shit, this looked amazing! It was better than I could have imagined. They took MY design image files, converted them to vector files, and came up with this double-printed design for an extremely FAIR price! Do you realize how fast I said, "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY"? Even the Sales Rep shared with me that the design techs loved my artwork and found that this was an easy project to work on. I loved this so much that, because I saved quite literally $1000, I went back to their website and ordered the screened panels and front screened window panel for when we need to protect the food from bugs and flying crud that tends to happen with the blustery weather during the Fall season. The extra panels only cost me $800, which means I still saved $200 for a canopy package that transforms for all types of weather!

I cannot WAIT to set this up and show you what it looks like outside!
